  • Gray Area Creative Code showcase

Designed as a playful installation, Proposals from Heaven pokes fun at the worlds of digital art and grant-making by generating random proposals that float down from on high.

The piece uses a collection of topical and technological buzzwords—gleaned from actual grant proposals—which are randomly selected via custom code and sent to a laser printer mounted on the ceiling.  New proposals are generated about once per minute.

Audiences are invited to take one home, and even to submit it with their next application.
